Today is Yesterday's Tomorrow
Today is Yesterday’s Tomorrow (TiYT) was a conceptually orchestrated and experiential exhibition that launched in the Summer of 2010. The main ideas of the TiYT Manifesto were refined into a series of aphorisms by Charley Wu and divided up among the remaining artists to inspire their work. This process allows for conceptual cohesion, yet affords each artist complete creative freedom. Each artist was encouraged to use their work as a response to the aphorism—their own view of the future. The pieces range from sculpture, to mixed-medium installations, to video.
